Job Posting: Journeyman Linemen
Location: Benton County Electric System (BCES)
BCES is seeking Journeyman Linemen to join our dedicated team. These positions play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient electric service to the community we proudly serve.
Responsibilities:

Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.

Safely operate equipment and tools required for linework, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other utility vehicles.

Respond to emergency outages, including after-hours and storm restoration efforts.

Maintain compliance with safety rules, regulations, and company standards.

Work effectively as part of a team to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.

Completion of an accredited lineman apprenticeship program (or equivalent training/experience).

Valid Tennessee Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Must live within 30 minutes of the BCES Warehouse at 925 Hwy 70E, Camden, TN.

Proven dedication to safety and strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and participate in on-call rotations.
